研究概要／Summary

My research interests focus on the understanding of how pluripotency is maintained in mouse embryonic stem cells and how the transitions between pluripotent states are regulated during early development. I am particularly interested in the regulation of key pluripotency transcription factors such as Oct4, Nanog and Sox2. To achieve these aims I am using the CRISPR/Cas9 technology to develop pluripotent cell lines in which the genes encoding for these transcription factors or their regulatory sequences have been engineered.
