新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大は、国境の封鎖などを含め人々の国際移動や移住を極端に制限しています。人々が国境を越え行き来する21世紀のハイモビリティ時代に特殊な状況が現れたのです。私たちのプロジェクトでは、感染拡大が人の越境におよぼす負の影響を検証するとともに、社会へのダメージを緩和し、現状からの回復の道筋を考察します。このプロジェクトは、外国人材の受け入れに関わる政策・法制度や遠隔支援等に関わる効果的な技術サポートを明らかにすることで、ハイモビリティ時代におけるレジリエントな社会の構築に資するものです。将来も生じうる同様の状況に対しても有効なデータベースと知見の獲得を目指します。
The spread of COVID-19 infection is leading to strict restrictions on international travel and migration, including border blockades. This is an unusual situation in the 21st century as an era of high mobility where people move around crossing borders. In our project, we examine the negative impact of the spread of infection on cross-border movements, and discuss solutions to reduce damage to society and recover from the current situation. The project will aid in the realization of a resilient society in an era of high mobility by clarifying appropriate policies and legal systems for the acceptance of foreign human resources and effective technical support for remote areas. We plan to create a database that will be useful for similar situations in the future.
