COVID-19を契機に、ニュー・ノーマル時代の高等教育と研究の在り方を全世界が模索し始めています。大学におけるグローバル化の意義も例外ではありません。そこで、この研究では、COVID-19に起因する国際社会と知の地殻変動を、 ①実地調査とオンラインによるインタビュー調査、 ②WEB・マスメディアの言説分析とビッグデータ解析、 ③専門文献調査、④アクター要素とそのネットワーク生成プロセスの抽出、により明らかにします。得られた結果を「キャンパス」「死」「COVID-19」の観点から分析しニュー・ノーマル時代の大学の意義と役割を再考することで「知のコミュニケーション」と「創造の場」としての大学のカタチを提案します。
The COVID-19 pandemic has urged the world to examine appropriate goals of education and research in the new normal, including redefining the significance of globalization at universities. Therefore, in this study, we clarified fundamental changes in international society and knowledge brought about by COVID-19 through: 1) field and online interview surveys, 2) WEB/mass media discourse and big data analyses, 3) specialized literature reviews, and 4) the identification of actor elements and actor network development processes. By analyzing the results from the perspectives of “campus”, “death”, and “COVID-19”, and redefining the significance and role of universities in the new normal, we propose approaches to be adopted by universities as places for “knowledge communication” and “creation”.
